Kazakhstan, highlighted in pink/red, in relation to the rest of the world



 Ok.... I know a lot of you out there are just unsure where the hell Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are. So, above you will find a map of where Kazakhstan sits in relation to the rest of the world. Below, you will find a map of Central Asia and the places I visited which are marked for your convenience. Kazakhstan is the 9th largest nation and is one of the world's largest oil producers. Uzbekistan is quite a bit smaller and much poorer. A large part of Russia's labor force comes from Uzbekistan.
